As with most Trinoma cinemas, this one is pretty good. I think it's one of their bigger and nicer theaters, and I like the design.
There are two tiers of ticket prices here: 450 pesos for a regular seat, and I think 570 for a recliner, which comes with popcorn. Popcorn in Trinoma is now served inside the cinema, so you don't need to go to the concession stand for it. Unfortunately, there are no more flavors. Before, you could choose from three; now it's just salt and butter, I think.
I had a good time, but I do have one slight comment, and it can be good or bad depending on the person. The chair is really nice, but it leans back too low, almost like a recliner. I guess it helps you see the screen better, but from the angle where I sat, F9, it was a bit awkward.
In the F row, I could also catch some flicker of light in my peripheral vision, from the left and the right. It wasn't a big deal, and I only noticed it because I know some very specific seats where you won't see it at all. But that's a very minor nitpick.
I did try the recliner seats above, and I think that's the best way to watch here. I recommend K row. Don't take J row, because you can see the seats below you when you recline. So in my opinion, K row is better.
One annoying thing, and I know this is probably down to chance, is that they forgot to turn off the lights for the first five minutes. I think someone reported it, and they came and fixed it. Thankfully, they reset the movie from the start, which is good, but it was still annoying.
I didn't like the experience here, mostly because of the angle of the seating arrangement.
Nonetheless, the screen isn't so bad and the audio is great.
That said, I think this is one of the lesser A-Giant screens available. So if you're in the north, just go to Trinoma to experience the best A-Giant cinema in the Philippines.

It was an okay experience. Megamall's Directors Club is decent enough and watchable.
Unfortunately, we had a significant issue during this one where the screen suddenly died toward the climax while the audio kept playing. That was really disappointing because we got spoiled. Even though they reset the movie back to that part, it still affected the overall experience. I'm not sure if this happens to other people, but it happened to us.
Note that this was a 10:30 p.m. show, so the staff were limited at that time. But when you pay a premium price, you expect premium quality. Still, we were able to push for a refund. It took time and I really had to advocate for it.
For anyone who runs into something similar, please push for your refund if you experience an inconvenience like this. You deserve it.
One of the fanciest movie experiences I've ever had, probably the best one.
Tempur is one of the best brands for comfort, and this theater really delivers on that. I felt very comfortable, very luxurious.
I loved the food choices too, really good. It was a very cozy experience. I love it.
I'd recommend this to couples or families.
I think this is one of my favorite IMAX experiences.
Dune: Part Two was just a really great film as well, and you really get immersed in the experience. There's no other way to watch Dune than IMAX.
Evia Lifestyle, when it was still available, is my top two IMAX theaters besides Mall of Asia. Honestly, it could even be number one. It's just too far for me. But yeah, it's one of the best cinema experiences I've had, as far as I can recall.
I don't like the design and structure of this theater. I booked a lower seat and it wasn't a good viewing experience. I remember we were at around Row A, so I can't say if it's the same for the other rows, but yeah, it's not nice.
They also had this wine and cheese combo for food, and it just doesn't work at all. Cheese and wine isn't the kind of food you need in a movie. It didn't feel luxurious or anything, and the prices weren't good either.
I don't recommend watching a movie here. It's not great. And yeah, I think the proximity from the seats to the screen isn't good.

I watched in Opus when it just opened, about a week ago. It is very new, so there is not much around. Unfortunately, there was no popcorn included, even though you are watching in VIP at the time. So that's a bummer.
However, the theater itself is actually pretty good. It has a very clear screen, great projection, and great audio. The seats are great. Overall, it was a great experience. I hope it has been maintained since then, but at the time of viewing, it was one of the best VIP experiences
This was around the time there was a strong typhoon in the Philippines and there was flooding. Thankfully, Power Plant was able to accommodate rescheduling our slots, so that was good.
I forgot exactly what we did to get that sorted. I think I emailed them, or maybe I'm misremembering, but I do remember we had to go to their back office in the cinema itself to confirm everything, because that's how it worked at the time.
Anyway, the actual theater experience was decent. I've always thought watching in Power Plant is comfortable and homey. It's nothing great. It's not the best sound, not the best projection, not even the best seats.
But yeah, I think Power Plant in general is a good mall, so it feels cozy.

So I wanted to try watching *Twisters* in 4DX, and unfortunately it wasn't that great.
Yes, the seats move a lot, which adds to the immersion, and there's some wind from time to time, but during this screening I think the water sprinklers weren't working. That could have been nice to experience, since this movie is all about tornadoes and weather.
I've always found 4DX gimmicky, only really suited for particular scenes or movies with really great action or environmental moments. I'd say this is mid. I wouldn't recommend watching normal movies here.
It also feels old and not maintained, so that's another thing to consider.
Yeah, this is a very small theater, almost like you're watching off a school projector or something. It was fine. The projection is fine and the sound system is actually not bad.
However, it's very cold, and the seating arrangement isn't nice at all. I feel like I don't own my space and you're just too close to other people. I felt like I was bothering others because there's no incline.
I watched here for the experience. Yeah, it's just decent, really. I wouldn't choose to watch here, and I'll probably only watch movies that are specifically showing in Cinema 76.

It's been a while since I watched here, but if I remember correctly, I hate Directors Club 1 more than Directors Club 2.
That said, I also remember not really enjoying Directors Club in Marikina in general. I think there's something old and dysfunctional about those rooms, so honestly, I wouldn't recommend watching here.
I remember the Directors Club seats here not being very good either.

I think this is the only other theater I'd recommend in Feliz. Great seats and a decent screen, although it's quite small, and I feel like it's getting dimmer. So expect it to be dimmer now in 2026.
But overall it was fine at the time of viewing, and I had no issues. Almost similar to Cinema 1 really. I think these are their 2 cinemas with atmos

This is a big theater. I think it's my first time watching in the old cinemas of Megamall.
It was fine, a decent experience. I don't have anything negative to say, but nothing I'd highly recommend either.
Overall it was fine, and I think you can watch here easily without issues.
I had an okay time.
SM Marikina still has decent cinemas. The screen sizes are small, but it's cozy enough and fine for normal movies. There are a few blemishes on the screen, but it's passable. I don't remember it being dim, so that's good.
The seats are great, so that's a plus. Overall it was a good experience, great for non-blockbusters or just random movies. It's fine here. Similar experience to Cinema 1, 4!

When I watched Superman here, it was okay. It was good. Any new theater is always a good experience. The projection is good, the audio is great, and the seats are actually pretty decent. Highly recommend watching here.

Avoid this cinema at all costs. I would strongly advise against watching anything in this theater until it is either pulverized, destroyed, or renovated.
I don't think you should even try. You'll just hate the experience. Unfortunately, I watched the movie *Weapons* here, which is 90% dark, so I was watching a pitch-black movie. Now, I don't know if I disliked *Weapons* or if I disliked my experience—probably both—but it affected my viewing experience 100%.
Again, do not watch anything in this theater unless you personally want to experience something terrible

I actually enjoyed this experience. It was in 3D, and I don't particularly like 3D. If it were up to me, every single movie would be 2D, IMAX only.
That said, *Tron: Ares* used 3D decently, so it was fine. I think Megamall IMAX isn't bad. I'd say it's in the top four of my IMAX list in the Philippines, so you can't go wrong choosing this one.
This was one of my favorite theaters growing up. Unfortunately it's not really well maintained anymore. I'd say it's mid. It still has Atmos audio, but other than that it's just decent. I don't feel anything particularly bad about it, though the seats aren't very comfortable.
I was actually surprised by this theater. It's surprisingly good. I think SM North's cinemas are underrated, especially this one.

I like this theater. At the time I watched, it was fairly new.

Well, this is my favorite IMAX theater.
That said, seating matters just as much. I managed to get a ticket, but I ended up on the right side of the theater, in the seat closest to the railing. There's a railing for each seat.
It was quite distracting, and even the lights on the stairs were distracting, so it really depends on where you're seated. I feel like if you're in any of the corners, it might be a hassle because of the rails they installed.
So choose your seat wisely.
I like SM Aura's IMAX. Top 2 IMAX for me. The dome-like structure is nice. Unfortunately I forgot which row it was, but there's this one row where the railings are a bit too high, so it might be annoying to watch from there.

The screen here isn't good. Unfortunately, it has blemishes, so I'd avoid watching here despite the comfy recliners.
That said, the last time I watched here was around January 2026, so I don't know if they've changed it since. But at the time of viewing, it wasn't very good.
Had a great experience here. One of the best, and arguably the best theater you can watch a movie in, period, in the Philippines.
So I tried IMAX for *Michael* because of its music and audio, and it was great. Loud, clear, and awesome.
L21 is a pretty good seat. You get a very immersive experience here without having to lean in or look too far side to side.

Unfortunately, Ayala Malls Feliz Cinemas have fallen off quite a bit.
Cinema 3 isn't anything special. It's not particularly good. I don't even think it's Atmos. The projector is getting dimmer, so dark movies are not recommended here.
It's also too warm. When we watched, it felt like the aircon was broken. The seats are old too.
So it's fine, it's mid, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you can find another theater, I suggest you do.

I'm pleasantly surprised with my experience here. If I lived closer, this would easily be one of my comfort cinemas. Really comfy seats, great screen size (arguably A-Giant size!) and great audio. Highly recommend this theater if you're around Makati.
Great cinema overall, but if I had the choice, I'd go with other IMAX screens because of the screen size. For me, I go to IMAX for maximum immersion through screen and audio, and this one falls a bit short on the screen since it's on the smaller side. I think it's even smaller than Trinoma's A-Giant.. But other than that, the experience here is still great. I'd still recommend this cinema for anyone living very near SM North, but Trinoma's A-Giant can compete (or even beat it) at almost half the price.
Just watched The Odyssey in Trinoma A Giant last night. The experience was great, but the first thing I noticed was that the lights from the seats on the side can reflect on the seat I was in. So whenever I glanced to my left, it got a bit annoying. One of my friends mentioned this to me before, and I've only experienced it in G-Row.
Anyway, other than that, the seats are pretty comfortable and spacious enough. This theater is always solid, and it's one of my go-to spots for non-IMAX films. Everything pretty much looks good on this screen, and I'm glad to report that The Odyssey is shown in flat aspect ratio, so the entire screen gets used for this movie. Honestly, if there are any missing scenes from above or below the frame, you really won't notice.
The sound system in this facility is amazing, and so is the projector. They also give out freebies: popcorn (small) and water. All in all, a good experience. This is still my go-to theater for pretty much any kind of movie, and I'd recommend going here.

Review based on my experience last June 5, 2025
Went to Wolfgang's Premiere Lounge at Gateway 2 and it's a mixed bag tbh. The La-Z-Boy recliners are genuinely comfy, best part of the whole experience, and the Dolby 7.1 sound had way more punch than I expected. But the in-movie food service is constant staff walking around blocking your view for like the first hour, screen already has stains despite being new, and Gateway 2 itself still feels like a half-finished mall.
Don't bother with this theater. Lots of better alternative
